Beit Cure Children’s Hospital, in cooperation with CBM Zambia and the Starkey Hearing Institute, celebrated World Health Day with the participation of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization. The health minister and the WHO representative to Zambia attended the event. A variety of activities were conducted, including public health screenings and a public parade. In a landmark event, Beit Cure Children’s Hospital and the Ministry of Health Zambia inaugurated Zambia’s first temporal bone dissection laboratory, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). A representative of the Ministry of Health emphasized the lab’s significance in enhancing our comprehension of public health and improving patient surgical outcomes.
