Objectives
1. Raise awareness about hearing health and prevention strategies.
2. Distribute culturally tailored IEC materials.
3. Engage participants through interactive workshops led by facilitators & checkup.
4. Leverage television and media platforms to amplify awareness.
Implementation Plan
1. Preparation (February 2025):
o Develop tailored IEC materials and workshop plans.
o Identify facilitators, DJ/MC, secure venue and materials.
o Identify partners, CSOs & critical stakeholders
o Partner with local television and media outlets to promote the event
2. Event Execution (3 March 2025):
o Conduct road show, workshops and interactive sessions with the support of facilitators, checkup and make referrals.
o Distribute IEC materials.
o Share the WHO hearing test software for Android and Apple
o Broadcast event highlights and awareness messages on television and media.
Expected Outcomes
• Improved awareness of hearing health and prevention strategies
• Expanded community outreach through media coverage.
• Number of clients referred/access service
