Event Description:
The aim of the event is to bring together various stakeholders to work towards a supportive environment for individuals with hearing impairments.
Activities planned:
1.raising awareness and understanding of ear protection, hearing loss prevention, early detection and the importance of ear health as well as hearing loss and how to take control to preserve own hearing
2. Sharing real-life experiences by individuals with hearing impairment and engage discussion to highlight challenges and solutions
3. Discussion on the implementation of inclusive hearing health policies or call to sustain action
4. Distribution of awareness materials:WHO informational material on ear care pamphlets will be distributed
Outcome
1. Awareness raised
2. Call to action for an inclusive multi stakeholder hearing care policies approach
3. Participants empowered
