Event Description:
•Organize an inclusive webinar in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health on ear and hearing care for all ages in Cameroon. This webinar will involve discussion of specific topics such as causes of hearing impairment, ear care as well measures to prevent hearing loss. This activity will be characterized by a high-level panel discussion on care and inclusion of people living with hearing loss in Cameroon. Discussions will be led by experts on hearing care, the government and civil society organizations.
•Draft and disseminate a Public service announcement in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health focused on promoting ear and hearing care. This will be disseminated to churches, mosques, schools, community meetings and radio stations
•Host a three-day social media campaign from March 1st to March 3rd 2025 comprising of short educative videos, messages, posters, flyers and other campaign material from the WHO website.
