Event Description:
The planned event for World Hearing Day 2025 in Bamenda will include a week-long media campaign on CBS Radio, featuring daily broadcasts to raise awareness about ear and hearing care. A total of 30 individuals will receive free ear screenings by an ENT doctor. Additionally, 50 educational posters will be distributed across key public spaces like hospitals, schools, and markets to spread awareness. The event will also involve sensitization sessions for 30 direct beneficiaries, focusing on safe listening practices and the importance of ear health. The initiative will engage local health experts and community leaders, aiming to influence policy makers on integrating ear and hearing care into public health systems.
