Vickie is deaf (and has tinnitus), which was caused by domestic violence when she was 18 years old, so her life dramatically changed in many ways. Throughout this ongoing journey, she has discovered that sound can be understood in different ways, such as vibrations and energy. The key is to simplify the whole concept and learn about how to preserve any remaining hearing levels.
