Event Description:

World Hearing Day 2025 – Tentative Samoa Events Outline
From 24th February to 1st March 2025, outreach clinics will be conducted at various workplaces to provide free ear and hearing screenings for workers exposed to high noise levels. These clinics aim to raise awareness about occupational hearing loss and empower individuals with preventive strategies.

On 3rd March 2025, a one-day workshop will deliver the WHO Primary Ear and Hearing Care Course, tailored for doctors and nurses in rural and remote areas. The course will focus on proper ear care, early detection of hearing issues, and referral pathways to the main ENT clinic, enhancing ear and hearing care accessibility across Samoa.

These events align with WHO’s theme, “Changing mindsets: Empower yourself to make ear and hearing care a reality for all,” aiming to foster awareness and action at both individual and community levels.
