Event Description:
1. Advocating with the district government agencies of both Chandrapur and Gadchiroli districts regarding World Hearing Day, organizing awareness and ear screening health camps, participating in other social organizations and social media
2. To raise awareness and understanding about ear protection, prevention of hearing loss, early detection and importance of ear health, as well as how to control hearing loss and preserve one’s own hearing, mainly among the people of tribal and slum areas.
3. 2. Sharing real-life experiences of individuals with hearing impairments and engaging in discussions to highlight challenges and solutions.
4. Calls to continue discussion or action on the implementation of inclusive hearing health policies.
5. Distribution of awareness materials: WHO will distribute informational materials on ear care.
6. Follow up on the services provided to people who attended the ear health check-up camp.
Outcomes
1. Awareness rose among underprivileged groups And empowering participants.
