Event Description:
The initiative of a collaborative effort between Professional and Support Group of Cochlear Implant Society, Johor (PROCIJ) and Otorhinolaryngology, Audiology and Speech Therapy Services in Johor State will celebrate Johor World Hearing Day 2025 in Johor Zoo. One of the primary goals is to enhance healthcare access for hearing impaired individuals by improving the healthcare facilities. The event will be kicked off by Corporate Social Responsibility Programme with Johor Zoo. The event will be continued with donation of medical equipment by the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to the dedicated hospitals. In addition, PROCIJ is happy to cheer cochlear implant children in ‘Riang Ria PROCIJ’ segment. New stationary sets will be distributed in the hope to provide the children with a head start as they usher in the new school year. The organisers will also provide complimentary free hearing screening to the Johor Zoo staffs.
