Scheduled Activities by CDD for celebrating World Hearing Day 2025:
To promote awareness and accessibility of ear and hearing care, CDD has planned several activities this year. The scheduled activities include:
Awareness Sessions: Targeting school students, teachers, older adults, caregivers of persons with disabilities, and the broader community.
Advocacy events:
Engaging with primary health service providers and local government representatives to advocate for improved ear and hearing care.
Hosting a webinar with national stakeholders, including policymakers, service providers, hearing care organizations, and individuals with hearing loss.
Community Rally: Conducting a rally at the community level to generate mass awareness on the importance of ear and hearing care.
Ear Screening Camps: Implementing camps to screen for ear-related issues, promoting proactive measures for early detection and care.
These initiatives collectively contribute to fostering understanding, addressing misconceptions, and encourage individuals to promote ear and hearing care for everyone.
