Event Description:
We are encouraging sites worldwide to facilitate hearing health and awareness activities throughout the month of March in honor of World Hearing Day. We have prepared materials that can be displayed on digital boards, resources to share with employees, and several different activities for sites and individuals. Here are the suggested activities:
• EARfit: Offer EARfit at your location where everyone can experience this excellent training tool.
• Wall of Sound: Add a favorite sound to the “Wall of Sound” using a Post-It.
• Hearing Protection Outside of Work: Commit to reducing noise exposure outside of work by posting their commitment on a Post-It.
• Offer hearing protection to take home.
• Safe-in-Sound Selfie: Share a selfie of the noise levels measured while wearing hearing protection during an activity.
We have asked sites and individuals to share their completed activities on our Yammer community accessible to all employees worldwide.
