Promotion of the goals and impact of World Hearing Day – in particular, to emphasize the risk and prevention of risk of hearing loss among recreational athletes due to the common practice of using personal audio devices while exercising. One of our company’s Core Values is “Bringing outsiders in: we build community across borders, celebrate our differences and cultivate deeper empathy and understanding.” Looking through the goals of the World Hearing Forum, in particular those of the External Relations and World Hearing Day workstreams, it seems an excellent opportunity to bring this Core Value to life!
