Project title: Empowering Students Today To Shape A Healthy Hearing Future

Primary region: SEAR

Country: Nepal

Event Description:

To mark World Hearing Day 2025, we will launch the School Ear Health Club in coordination with community schools. We will organize an interactive workshop to guide students and teachers on seeking early referrals for ear diseases and adopting healthy hearing habits, such as managing headphone volume and using ear protection at loud events. The club will be equipped with information, education, and communication materials to promote ear and hearing health. With the club’s active participation, there will be ongoing support to host a series of campaigns, workshops, and awareness events throughout the year within the school community. The goal is to ensure everyone understands the importance of hearing health today in order to protect their future. By empowering students to take action, the initiative envisions a future where hearing loss is preventable, and students are equipped with the knowledge to promote healthy hearing habits within their neighborhoods.
