Event Description:

World Hearing Day 2025 is organised by the German Hearing Instruments Industry Association in German-speaking countries under the motto ‘Understand more, experience more’. The campaign is multi-chanel. Campaign material such as posters for hearing aid acousticians and ENT doctors are sent out for free, mailings are sent out and weekly media posts are placed. We also organise local PR events to highlight the campaign. The 2025 motto emphasises the connection between hearing and understanding. It shows that ‘hearing’ is much more than just perceiving sound – it is the key to enjoying life, communicating with other people and actively participating in social and cultural life. Federal Minister of Health Prof Karl Lauterbach has assumed the patronage. The central campaign website is www.welttag-des-hoerens.de.
