Event Description:
We are going to present a streaming presentations of half an hour for all the participants, hearing care professionals and friends of our association. Broadcasting to all our social networks through StreamYard.
The subjects presented those will be:
– “Patients, family members, speech therapists and doctors: which patients should go or be referred to a Cochlear Implant Reference Center?” , Prof. Dr. Pedro Escada;
– “Hearing Health Throughout Life” (from an Audiological point of view), Prof. Dra. Maria Inês Araújo;
– “The Importance of Caregivers in Hearing (Re)habilitation of Deaf People”, Dr. Pedro Brás da Silva;
– “The Relationship between Sound Perception and Recognition for Good Communication”, Dra. Cristiane de Lima Nunes;
– “In a Logic of Early Intervention”, Prof. Dra. Margarida Serrano;
– “Rehabilitation in Presbycusis and Influence on Dementia”, Dra. Catarina Morais;
– “WHF Recommendations on Hearing Health Across the Lifespan”, Dra. Luisa Monteiro.
