Event Description:
This project aims to raise awareness about hearing health across different age groups. We will conduct interactive sessions targeting three key demographics: the geriatric population, young adults, and new parents.
For the elderly, sessions will focus on age-related hearing loss, its impact on quality of life, and available resources like hearing aids and assistive devices.
With young adults, the focus will be on the dangers of excessive earbud use, loud music exposure, and the importance of safe listening habits. We’ll demonstrate the potential long-term damage and promote preventative measures.
For new parents, we will conduct awareness sessions on neonatal hearing screening, explaining its importance in early detection of hearing loss in infants. We will highlight the benefits of early intervention for child development and provide information on available support services.
The project will utilize presentations, demonstrations, and Q&A sessions to engage the audience and promote proactive hearing health management.
