Planned activities: Our creative arts team, RUCAT (Rose Uganda Creative Arts Team) , will present to the high school students attending Buikwe High School, the importance of hearing loss prevention and hearing care, while initiating an awareness program about hearing loss.
RUCAT has the skills to motivate young adolescents with their artistic talents in music and the arts. Students will hear why hearing care is critically important to avoid any type of hearing loss. Also, included in the program is to find out how many of the students may have a friend or loved one that has hearing loss in order to develop an awareness program for the community at large about hearing loss and resulting emotional trauma due to lack of communication access.
