Event Description:
The objective of our team of audiologists is to raise awareness and empower the public about the risks of exposure to high sound intensities, encouraging hearing protection, especially during Carnival.
Our actions include the free distribution of earplugs at Carnival blocks, handing out pamphlets with information about hearing health, and an educational campaign with musicians, focusing on strategies to minimize hearing damage. We will also carry out a fun activity at a preschool, guiding children and families on the importance of using hearing protection from childhood. In addition, we will promote a digital mobilization on Instagram, featuring educational videos from audiologists, engaging with the audience, and sharing materials from the WHO.
All moments will be recorded and widely shared to increase the impact of the campaign. Our mission is to empower the public to adopt healthy hearing habits, making hearing protection an accessible and essential practice, even during leisure time.
