Event Description:
Our project includes three major events conducted over three days. On the first day, thirty youth leaders from medical, public health, nursing, and allied health backgrounds will receive training from ENT specialist on ear anatomy, common problems, myths, early detection, and prevention. The second day will focus on school health projects in 15 schools across Nepal, where students will engage in interactive activities like visual and audio aids, and quizzes, to promote proper ear hygiene and myth-busting. On the third day, community screenings will be held in high-risk areas, offering basic hearing tests, identifying risk factors, providing counseling, and distributing WHO resources. Additionally, community counseling sessions will address misconceptions, emphasizing timely care and regular checkups for long-term impact.
