In celebration of National Ear Care Day on March 3rd, the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences, College of Health Science and Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine will host an annual free hearing clinic series for SJTU faculty, retirees, and students. The event includes 4 activities:
1.Educational Lecture on Hearing Health: Experts will deliver a science-based talk on hearing preservation, common disorders, and preventive measures.
2.Hearing Screening: Preliminary checks via otoscopy, tympanometry, and a user-friendly hearing screening mini-program to identify potential issues.
3.Pure-Tone Audiometry Test: Further assessment for participants who show abnormalities in the initial screening.
4.Consultation Session: Personalized advice on hearing concerns. Attendees are encouraged to bring previous medical reports or hearing aids for tailored guidance.
