Event Description:
In Ostrava (3rd largest city in the Czech Republic) on the 3rd of March will be held the event Světový den sluchu v Ostravě (World Hearing Day in Ostrava) during the all day long by our association Jsem jedno ucho (I´m all ears). Our 3 biomedical technicians will check the hearing of individual age groups (primary school pupils, secondary school students, people in the 30-55 age category and seniors). The accompanying program will be discussions throughout the day with a 6th-year medical student – a deaf student with a hearing disability. This event was given patronage by the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic and the Governor of the Moravian-Silesian Region.
