As part of World Hearing Day, Sravana Hearing Aid Centre, in collaboration with Payyannur College, is organizing an awareness session for students on “Safe Hearing Habits: Protect Your Hearing from Headphone Overuse.”
With the increasing use of headphones among the younger generation, many are unaware of the potential risks of hearing loss caused by prolonged and uncontrolled headphone usage. Continuous exposure to high-volume sound can lead to irreversible damage, affecting hearing later in life.
To address this growing concern, this awareness session aims to educate students on the risks of headphone overuse and promote healthy listening habits to safeguard their hearing. Through this initiative, we strive to create awareness and encourage responsible headphone usage for long-term hearing protection .
