Title: Seminar to launch Primary EHC resources and highlight PEHC integration into PHC
Description: A seminar was organized at Pakistan Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, Islamabad to celebrate World Hearing Day 2023, with the prime objective to launch primary EHC training manual and primary EHC trainer’s handbook. Seminar also aimed to promote and advocate for integration of PEHC into PHC. Speakers highlighted global and national status of EHC, primary prevention of NIHL, screening and early detection of hearing loss. Deployment of ear and hearing workforce (EHC technicians and audiologists) at PHC centres and and promotion of EHC through lady health workers was strongly recommended.
