Title: Awareness raising on hearing loss
Description: This activity brought together 100 participants drown from primary health care provider, teachers/ heads of primary and secondary schools and stakeholders in the disability sectors. The theme for the training was awareness of hearing loss and relevant communications skills to enhance effective service delivery. Hearing impaired experts facilitated on the following topics: earl detection of ear loss, health care treatment for patient with ear loss, basic communication skills (Sign Language) and the prevention of ear loss. The training end with a commitment from the participants.
