Title: Raising awearness on Ear and hearing care for all and making it a reality at local community level
Description: As Bududa district association for the hard of hearing, we celebrated WHD day by
raising awareness and advocating for integration of ear and hearing care in primary
health care system especially extension of ear screening, treatment and cleaning services in
health centers. We encouraged government, NGOs working with ministry of health to
increase the number of audiology experts at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) so that they can
offer ear and hearing care services to all persons who encounter ear related illness as well as
rehabilitation.
