Description: The Department of Disability Studies of the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, organized activities from the 1st of March to the 13th of March 2023 to celebrate World Hearing Day (WHD). The activities that targeted the ENT consultants, policymakers, audiologists, and audiology students included three webinars conducted by professors from the USA and India. The healthcare professionals at several public and private hospitals were educated regarding hearing loss and early identification via small group discussions and posters. A workshop was held for 80 public health midwives on early detection
