Description: Main event – A symposium was held (on March 3) with stakeholders, to create awareness on the need to integrate Ear and Hearing Care into Primary Health Care. Heads of Institutions responsible for Ear and Hearing care in Ghana were present, to deliberate on ways of improving access to Ear and Hearing Care. In the days leading to the main event, members of STAAG made appearances at Polyclinics, Nursing Training Colleges, Television as well as Radio stations, to spread the word on the importance of Ear and Hearing Care, as well as where to access proper Hearing/Ear care.
