Description: The World Hearing Day Barbados 2023 was a 1-week event which culminated in an in-person, interactive live event on ear and hearing health and care. Awareness was raised through Media interviews, national News features and social media activism. World Hearing Day Barbados 2023 reached a total of 163,324 people. This reach has resulted in new partnerships formed for the continuation of the promotion of ear and hearing care from the requests for free monthly hearing tests and screenings open to the public. WHO WHD promotional materials and WHO Training Manual were disseminated to all guests.
