Description: World Hearing day 2023 was observed by the JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysuru. A series of activities were performed from 20/02/2023 to 03/03/2023. Hearing screening programs, the release of posters on ‘Construction noise and its effect on hearing’, ‘Personal Listening Devices and its effect on hearing’ and ‘Industrial noise and its effect on hearing’ and ‘Nada Shamana’ app for tinnitus relief were carried out. Walkathon, webinar on community-based rehabilitation, and an orientation program for health care professionals regarding communication disorders were the other activities.
