Title: School Ear and Hearing Health Program to Avert Preventable Hearing Loss
Description: Ear Care Nepal (ECN) celebrated World Hearing Day by conducting school ear health program at two government schools. A total of 1,482 children were screened and treated for ear diseases and hearing loss. They were also educated about ear and hearing health using education materials developed in local language. ECN also attended the awareness rally jointly organized by various organizations, which was concluded with a media-briefing event where representatives from all the organizations expressed their greetings and plans to promote ear and hearing health in Nepal.
