Title: Prevention in older adults living in a public elderly adults residency
Description: On March 3, 2023, during the World Hearing Day, we carried out the proposed action jointly between the Secretary of Health of the Municipality of Córdoba and the Department of Otolaryngology of Sanatorium Allende, to give visibility hearing loss as a health problem. It was decided to hold an awareness talk on hearing prevention in older adults who live at the Hogar Padre La Monaca. 40 adults were exanimated, checking the hearing levels using questionnaires and otoacoustic emissions. The strong association between hearing loss and cognitive deterioration was the nucleus or the presentation.
