Description: The World Hearing Day was celebrated at Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences by a street-play performed by the 1st year MBBS students to bring about awareness to the general public on ear problems, how they occur, how they can be prevented stressing the do’s and don’ts, which was followed by a rally from a popular tourist destination Raja’s seat to the Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital. The event was concluded there by an orientation program to the health-care workers and the inauguration of monthly hearing screening & awareness program at the periphery.
