ENT NURSES GROUP GHANA UPPER EAST REGION
The world hearing day celebration for the year 2023 was successfully celebrated by the Ear, nose and throat (ENT) Nurses group upper east Ghana. Underneath were the objectives for the program;
To screen for ear diseases and hearing impairment for all patients who turnout to the hospital at the OPD.
To deliver a presentation on the role of nurses in the prevention of ototoxicity at the Talensi District hospital.
To deliver a health talk about hearing in the local language through a radio station
We had a successful ear screening at the hospital. We were able to identify and refer few others who required further audiological assessment and further management.
