Description: On World Hearing day 2023 Swarsangya Charitable Trust organised free hearing screening camp for Neonates at Surat, Gujarat, India. Though Surat is a metropolitan city of India still due to lack of awareness neonatal hearing screening is not 100%. From a long time we are working to reduce the incidence of hearing loss due to lack of awareness. The information was floated through social media and was also done using pamphlet and banners. Hearing screening was provided to about 100 neonates brought to the camp. The screening was done by OAE and reports were shared in print form. We also provided counselling to all the parents and their family members visited our hearing screening camp regarding the vital role of neonatal hearing screening. Neonatal hearing screening is as important as the vaccine is important for healthy life of child. Hearing Screening ensure the hearing and speech health of child.
