Title: Ear and hearing care for all
Description: TingLian Hearing is a hearing professional alliance organization. During World Hearing Day, we launched a range of campaigns to increase awareness of ear and hearing health in major cities in China. More than 200000 suggestions regarding hearing health and rehabilitation were provided to people who need. To increase the general public’s awareness of the ear and hearing, we distributed more than 15,000 brochures and donate many hearing aids to poor individuals. With assistance from local communities and China Disabled Persons’ Federation, we hosted more than 500 hearing health seminars and influenced more than 30,000 individuals. About 14,000 people received our free hearing screening and 10% of them had hearing loss. Fortunately, some of the people who got screened decided to intervene early.
