Title: World Hearing Days in the Polish Parliament.

On March 7, 2023 a Meeting of the Committee on Family, Senior and Social Policy was held in The Senate of the Republic of Poland on the occasion of World Hearing Day. The theme was: “Hearing protection for all – let’s make it a reality.” The Meeting was led by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Family, Senior and Social Policy – Senator Jan Filip Libicki. He emphasized that hearing loss does not only affect the elderly, but also people at a younger age. The floor was then taken by Senator Beata Małecka-Libera, who noted that the Health Committee is open to all topics to be discussed at the Meeting. Also it was underlined that hearing protection is a challenge of the 21st century due to the surrounding environment and omnipresent noise. This was followed by short lectures on important topics including hearing prevention, early diagnosis of hearing loss
