Description: The theme for World Hearing Day 2023, “Ear and Hearing Care for All: Let’s make it a reality,” highlights the need for equal access to ear and hearing care services for everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status, geographic location, or other factors. This includes prevention, early identification, and timely intervention for hearing loss, as well as rehabilitation and support for those with hearing loss and their families. It’s important to promote awareness and advocate for policies and programs that support ear and hearing care for all, and events like World Hearing Day help to bring attention to these critical issues. We Eric Rajapakse opticians celebrated the day mainly Colombo & Kandy areas (Elders homes, Temples at villages, Walking paths, Public Library, Children’s parks, Shopping malls, Bus Stands and Railway stations). Free outdoor hearing screening & public awareness programs were organized with the support of our staff members.
