Title: Realization strategies for our common goal in ear and hearing care
Description: The ENT Team, Otorhinolaryngology Department of OAUTHC, Nigeria joined the World to celebrate the hearing day 2023 and to carry out free care for the ears and hearing ability of people in our locality. The various events that took place were focused on the general public for the purpose of awareness on ear problems, advocacy on preventive and proper treatment modalities as well as hearing screening. We held a 30 minutes question and answer section on one of the popular radio stations in the district. The discussion and handbills shared were based on health tips for ear care and safe listening. There were two sections of free consultation and audiological screening with some free treatments on 3rd and 4th of March. In all, we had 256 people in attendance (children inclusive). Each section commenced with health talk titled “Realization strategies for our common goal in ear and hearing care”.
