In commemoration of world hearing day 2023, in a country where the ears are treated like a lesser part of the body and ear health not really paid attention to, Team Topaz which consist of children ages 9-12, decided to carry out a social impact campaign by giving Health talks/sensitizing people about their ears. The event took place in March, and was carried out in schools, churches and immediate members of the community, the number of preventable hearing loss would be reduced as the people who participated are now more informed and familiar about their ear health, they know things to pay attention to and the danger signs of the ears, questions were asked and misconceptions were cleared and enlightenment was gained by those that participated.
