Title: Care for Your Ears: Awareness and Screening Campaign for University Staff and Students
Description: On the occasion of World Hearing Day, an Awareness and Screening Campaign was held at Osmania University College of Arts and Social Sciences in collaboration with Helen Keller’s institute for Speech and Hearing (A unit of HKIRRDC), Secunderabad and Indian Speech and Hearing Association, Mysore on 6th March 2023, with the theme ‘Ear and Hearing Care for All, Let’s Make it a Reality!’ . Prof. C. Ganesh, Principal, UCASS, OU; Dr.C.S.Swathi and Dr. A. Anupama, Co-ordinators, UCASS, OU; Ln. P. Ummar Khan, Founder and Chairman, Dr. Armugan, Principal, Dr. Srividya and Audiologists from Hellen Keller Institute have participated in this program. As a part of this program, free ENT evaluation, Hearing Screening Test was done for more than 140 participants. Awareness was also built on self-hearing assessment using ‘HearWHO’ app. The whole program was supported by Anushodana Team and all participants were given participation certificate and a badge.
