Title: WORLD HEARING DAY CONFERENCE
Description: Hearing Screenings are an important tool used to identify children with possible hearing loss who were not identified at birth or who developed hearing loss later in life.
So, in March 2021, we developed a community hearing screening for a total of 52 people.
This year, we returned to the same place to see how the people were and had a discussion on hearing and hearing aids.
In March 2023, 9 people from the 2021 hearing screening and 7 new people, received hearing care information.
We concluded that improving compliance with hearing care needs more investment and information through awareness campaigns with the Capverdean community.
