Description: The Audiology Unit, Prince Court Medical Centre (PCMC) launched the World Hearing Day event at Hilton KL. Event included an Expert Panel Forum and a testimonial from our VIP guest, former Attorney General, Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail. The targeted participants were general practitioners. Event started with a keynote address by our Medical Director, Datuk Dr. Kuljit Singh. Our forum, moderated by our Senior Audiologist, included distinguished panelists, Dr. Shawaludin Husin, Past President of Malaysian Society of Occupational Safety and Health; Dr. Anura Manuel, ENT Head, PCMC and Mr. Saravanan Selanduray, an audiologist who is currently the International Clinical Market Development Manager for Natus Medical Incorporated. This is followed with the presentation of the Primary Ear and Hearing Care Training Manual and accompanying handbook by WHO to Dr. Gnamalar Gnanasundram, Honorary Secretary of Malaysian Medical Association Wilayah by Datuk Dr. Kuljit. Event was covered in the New Straits Times.
