Title: Ear and hearing care for all in Montréal
Description: The School of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Montreal (UdeM) organized a local event. Hearing screening and awareness activities were conducted in schools, music conservatories, and at the UdeM music faculty by second year students of the professional master’s degree in audiology. Overall, approximately 500 people participated in the event. In addition, video capsules were created to be broadcasted to music students using the teaching platform and the panels located in the music faculty throughout the month of March. Audiology students edited Outreach Wikipedia Edit-a-thon 4 World Hearing Day 2023. UdeM, along with local organizations, disseminated World Hearing Day campaign social media materials to alert governments, organizations, professionals, and the public.
