Title: 2023 World Hearing Day Celebration
Description: The activities began with advocacy visits to the Director General, Edo Health Insurance Commission, Chief Medical Director, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Vice Chancellor, University of Benin. The aim of the visits is to get Ear care fully incorporated into primary care and catered for in the health insurance of the state. A position paper on hearing care for all was also presented. There was a health walk with ear care education in the community, there were also formal lectures on ear care .The climax was free hearing screening and ear disease treatment for participants .
