Title: World Hearing Day: Hearing Care for All
Description: 1. In view of World Hearing Day, 2023 , we the Department of ENT, Bhaarath Medical College and Hospitals arranged for a weeklong hearing screening program for all the employees for Bhaarath University. All the outpatients visiting the hospital for the week also were screened for hearing loss using the HearWHO Pro app and people who required further investigation were provided with free consultation and audiological investigations. Third MBBS students actively participated in this screening programs and counselled the patients.
2. Students were encouraged to create a short film generating awareness among common public regarding hearing loss and the stigma associated with it.
3. Poster competition was arranged for the students in view of World Hearing Day, 2023, the theme being Hearing Care for All. The winners among them were congratulated.
