During the week of 03/28 to 03/03/23, the team of Audiology professors at Centro Universitário Lusíada – UNILUS focused attention on the World Hearing Day. To this end, teachers developed a project with a schedule of actions that included posts and guidelines for the community. Taking advantage of the topic, the students discussed, in the Ethics and Bioethics discipline, conducts for participating in campaigns following ethical precepts.
The actions followed the guidelines and materials available by the WHO (posters, banners on the web). Posts were made for publication on the institution’s social networks on the Instagram profile: fono_unilus. The posts started on the 28/02th and continued until the 03/03/2023. In addition, on the 3rd, students guided the population at some commercial points in the city, using models of ears to illustrate information about hearing and folders containing the importance and tips about hearing health and hearing care.
