Title: Dentro il silenzio, un film per conoscere l’approccio psicoaudiologico a diagnosi e terapia dell’ ipoacusia infantile.
Description: At the headquarters of the Order of Psychologists of Campania, the short film ‘Dentro il Silenzio’ (born from an idea of Dr. Antonio della Volpe and produced by Lucio Allegretti of AquilaFilm) was screened, to inform psychologists about the psychological problems that arise in in conjunction with a diagnosis of deafness.
The film based on a true story was an opportunity both to learn about the diagnostic, therapeutic and treatment process for childhood hearing loss, and for a discussion on psychoaudiology. The latter is a complex approach, aimed at managing and living with the disease and improving the quality of life of people with hearing problems in the various choices and among the various healthcare projects.
