Description: The Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS) at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital (UST), together with the university’s Master in Clinical Audiology program and Faculty of Medicine And Surgery, celebrated World Hearing Day for a week. This involved a four-day medical mission which included ear consultations and hearing tests at community health centers in Quezon City (Q.C.) and Manila. On March 3, 2023, ORL-HNS residents and the UST Master in Clinical Audiology team provided training to community workers. This training focused on practical methods for preventing, identifying, and managing hearing loss and ear diseases.
