Description: The Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Department of the Padjadjaran University, in partnership with the RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin hospital in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, held two annual events celebrating World Hearing Day. The 6th Bandung Audiology Workshop focused on the topic of middle ear infections this year. The goal of this gathering was to enhance the understanding of general practitioners and healthcare providers about middle ear infections. It aimed to boost their clinical examination skills, offer the latest diagnostic techniques, and serve as a networking platform for all participants. This annual workshop helps to promote the most recent knowledge and insights related to ear infections, improving overall patient care. The second event titled, “Hello… World!!! #4” was a gathering focused on addressing hearing loss, specifically in the area of cochlear implantation, within Indonesia. This gathering aimed to foster a sense of community for families with cochlear implant recipients, providing a platform for dialogue and mutual support.
