Title: World hearing Day 2022
Description: For World Hearing Day 2023, a two-day program starting March 3, 2023, was held at two separate locations. The first day was at Indira Negara School in Chitpady, Udupi, where 192 students received otoscopy exams, 131 of which passed and 61 were referred for further examination. The following day, a screening camp took place at Sri Siddhivinayaka Cashew Industries in Santhekkate, Hebri, Karnataka. A noise survey revealed a high noise level of 80-85 dB near the machinery within the factory. Workers, who typically operate for 8 to 10 hours daily and have been employed for over eight years, were among the 41 individuals tested.
